ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I start off the album discussing my insecurities and things i'm passionate about through rap. There were times where I thought “what if we didn’t work out," "what If she cheats" ect. Those what if's thoughts turned into the song “Do You Know Me”, the opening track. I continue the project with smooth hip-hop lyrics on top of chill lo-fi instrumentals. "Lost in my Thoughts" is a song that discusses how I feel about relationships and the idea of marriage and kids. I often envision my future and one of the key things that motivates me daily is the future family I picture. This society forgets how precious new human life is. We are too caught up in ourselves to ever see the finer things. I wanted to express these thoughts in this song in a genuine way. "The One" follow this song. In "The One" I'm explaining to my previous lover that she is the one for me. I go into depth on how special she is to me and my music. That's when I switch it up with "Runaway" an indie rock song that covers the topic of breaking up. I then transition the project into the indie portion with songs like “Holding On" & "Addicted". These songs are led with an acoustic guitar. I enjoy the sound of the guitar and I love folk indie vibes. I realized midway through the project that the only way to really express my feelings is through various genres of music. I can’t just focus on one genre or one sound because there are so many emotions that come with the topics I touched in this project. The assortment shows the versatility that Im able to bring and I hope you enjoy. I hope my music changes your perspective on life, love, and music.
