Album Notes
Everlasting onto me: this song is about the difficulty of extracting oneself from a bad relationship and how easy it is to forget the bad when things are good. Sometimes it takes years to complete the break when powerful bonds are involved. That’s when the relationship seems "everlasting".
Remedy: I once asked myself what kind of song I would like to write that best expresses who I am musically-And at that time this is what I came up with. I heard every component and put this song together, replete with references to illicit drug use, yearning for a lost love and the scent of orange blossoms in the cool morning air.
Murmurs from T St.: A drop-D tuning begins this enigmatic tale of pure sorrow and loss, with a hint of redemption in the metaphoric use of the word sun coupled with the futility that things will never get better.
Miss you like the moon: I once amicably broke up with a girl and set out to live in the Pacific Northwest only to realize that our break up was a mistake and I had landed in one of the most, rainy depressing places in the world. All that was left to do was to order a case of BV Gamay Beaujolais and descend into madness
