Local musician Stephen Mendon released his album "These Friends of Mine" last month. The album features Mendon, along with Laurie Mendon, Stew Pappenfort, Rich Clark, Shaun Kohl, Ed Rodgers, Joanie Houston and Dr. Eric Carlson.

The album is loaded with local talent, a portrait of artists, which holds the listener captivated throughout. Listening to These Friends of Mine is like driving in a pickup along a mountain raod, the dreamlike state of dust and spruce. (Paul J. Goetz), Canon Current, Canon City, CO.

Talented blusey folk writer, player and singer
Stephen is a talented blusey folk songwriter and a very good rhythm player as well as a singer who puts his soul in his renditions. I enjoyed this album very much... as did my son, who is a talented guitar player in his own right. This is a great album for any folk and/or country folk collection, especially if you like a blues feel to it.
