Album Notes
In the not-so-distant past two ingenious Swiss artists/instrument makers molded and fused two lap-sized steel hemispheres together and created a new musical instrument that has become a springboard for creativity among those fortunate enough to acquire one. The instrument is called Hang (meaning “hand” in their language), and Matt Venuti’s latest CD, Hangisphere, unveils the wonder and beauty of this magical new instrument in his very distinctive style. It's smooth and melodious and inspires different feelings...sometimes moving and mysterious and often joyful and fun. designed to put a smile on your face and a glow in your heart!

WOW! Matt Venuti's new CD is impressive and imaginative beyond expectation. This is a unique genre and not easy to describe. Upbeat, yet soothing and rhythmic. Nothing rough or sharp about it. The music evokes peace, freedom,
smiles, tropical getaways, and soothes the soul. I have been using it for a dose of relaxation after a tough day...and for a pick me up when I'm feeling a bit low. It has wide cleaning lady summed it up when she walked in the other day and heard Hangisphere playing, she exclaimed with a big smile on her face, "what is that music? It is so sweet"! I would add, it is also very deep.

What a gem. Beautifully arranged, free flowing and uplifting. Great CD to sit and listen to or set an inviting mood hanging (sorry) with your friends. I'm a little biased but I never lie. Another triumph - check out all of Matt's work if you want a treat.

I've never experienced music that elevated my mood like Hangisphere. I'm a fan of Venuti's Dance of the Helix CD, but this one takes the Hang to an even higher level. Thank you!

Awesome Happy w/Hang Therapy
OMG!!! Your music gives me so much joy, peace & tranquility. It makes me happy EVERYTIME I listen to it! I met Matt in Golden Gate Park, SF, CA one day. He was playing the Hangisphere,...I was attracted to the sound and walke up to him and listened for a couple of minutes and purchased a CD ASAP! Enjoy

A milestone!
I've been a fan of the Hang since its inception, and Matt Venuti has taken it to the mainstream with Hangisphere. I've listened to it many times over and it keeps evolving with each play.

Spread the Word!
Matt has orchestrated the Hang beautifully, and has given this new musical instrument an awesome stage and a unique voice with this new CD. The songs are catchy and have a familiarity that almost feels primal at times...written with a dreamy pop sensibility yet completely original as Matt's music always is. Great stuff...keep it coming!!
