Album Notes
This album from Matt Hellion explores the painful experiences that are part and parcel of life itself. You will find songs about loss, love, guilt, addiction, abuse, escapism, and hope. Each title is meant to tell a different story from a unique perspective. Matt draws upon influences from classic literature and gaming to paint a stereoscopic portrait that draws the listener in and begs them to question their own perceptions and reality. Let Tunnels stimulate your mind as well as your ears.

Featuring guest performances by Katharine Caskey on a cover of "Mad World" and Tyler Hendricks on "Welcome Home". As well as lyrical contributions by Steven Farber on "Blackened Wings" and "Trigger Happy", and Jonathan McKeel on "Crave". The album was Mastered by Dolf Guardiola.

This album is dedicated to those we've lost in the years leading up to it's completion. Those who have made it through the long dark tunnel of life in this fallen world to their home in heaven. For mom, who always supported me, and had the best advice. For Grandma, who was always happy to tell me about the other musicians in the family. For Paul, Jack, and Bob, granddads who never really understood me, but loved me anyway. For Gerald, one of the hardest workers I've ever known. And for Haden, who understood my love of music more than most, and who was taken from us too soon. I love and miss you all.
