Album Notes
Odd Evensong is a 5-song EP and marks the 3rd record release for Matt Caplan. The songs are mostly acoustic, and range widely in tone from the first track to the last. The record begins with "Sully My Days," a frank and passionate analysis of lust and love, and ends with "Europe" a finger-picked ballad about unquenched transatlantic wanderlust. Each track is honest and unpredictable, and the guitar continuously delivers a satisfying barrage of surprising chord progression.

Guitar and vocals sound GREAT on this EP. I already loved his voice but it seems to sound better with every recording---and he's a great lyricist. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite car ride CDs.
