ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Marlon Branch Plays an evocative style of guitar,
fluid as a bird in song. In his homebase of Memphis
Tennessee, Marlon is in constant demand professionally
as a session player and live dates as well. Marlon's
firm belief is that an audience kows if you care about
the music. Marlon has played with Al Green, Joyce Cobb,
Rufus Thomas, Denise Lasalle, The Midtown Jazzmobile,
Kool and the gang(in a technical capacity)and many others.
Marlon now fronts his own band, "MONDAYZ' CHILD", a
very talended group of musicians who play everything
from bebop-fusion-classical to contemporary and smooth
jazz."MONDAYZ' CHILD" has been featured as the opening act
for many jazz concerts in the Memphis and mid-south area,
more notably they were the opening act for bassist,
WAYMON TISDALE< saxophonist-BONEY JAMES,violinist,
GERALD DAYMEON< the YELLOWJACKETS and SPRYO-GYRA!
This band is tight and their every performance becomes
a dramatic event to be seen and heard. Marlon is also
an elementary school music teacher with the Memphis
City School District. for more info visitwww.marlonbranch.com
