Album Notes
Northern Canada is the last place you'd expect to find hip hop, but everyone’s trail in life will lead to extraordinary paths when their dreams are pursued. Growing up on a farm means learning what hard work really is. The role of team captain in high school athletics proves leadership. But leaving that promising path in the past promises nothing but pain-- where the pacifists pass away and the self proclaimed patriots pack a P90. Where the heroine is heroin, the inhabitants "haha!" at the concept of happiness and help no one and live hopeless. In these Grande Prairie alleys where absolutely anyone askin’ at any moment on the clock can exchange currency for crank, spank, crack, coke, dope in whatever form until a hope comes to save us. Spending time in the streets forces an entirely new knowledge altogether.
Running away from this life to the mountains of Colorado, "Lyfestile" once again acquired a new knowledge and a new hope. He’s returned home and now brings nothing but his best effort to revive our rotting rap culture. This effort and hope is not in him, but in Him who is King. Lyfestile is simply the messenger, and you don't wanna sleep on the message. "The Y and the I been switched, because the life style did".

Thank you to the whole DoveFire team and all the work you put in and to those who support this ministry.

Better than the Radio
Somedays you turn on the radio hoping to hear something worthwhile. Nowadays, you become disappointed and upset with our societies taste. What Lyfestile brings to the table is exactly what the album says. Raw and edgy. He gives you a look into the life not of the glamorous, but of people with real hearts who are not afraid to look you in the eye and state what’s wrong with today. This album is worth your time because it takes the veil off your eyes and shows you the world with no make-up. There is no frivolous trash in here. This is from the heart and the artist has real talent. I recommend this album for anyone, but especially those who are sick of hearing about butt’s and alcohol becoming your savior. Let Lyfestile explain the real Savior to you.
