Album Notes
"The music of Luminance Ensemble is truly satisfying; an uplifting journey of original music with South American rhythms and jazz flavors. The unique combination of harp, trumpet, and bass are a beautiful elixir for the soul. "
-Kim, Mt. Tabor House Concerts

Formed in the Mission District of San Francisco, Luminance Ensemble joins a compelling combination of instruments - electric harp, trumpet and upright bass. Combining folk and concert traditions, the ensemble’s collaborative process highlights each member as a composer, improviser and arranger. Harpist, Amelia Romano, is joined by trumpeter, Matthew Ebisuzaki and Tim Renner on the upright bass. Together spontaneous improvisation, contagious rhythms and soulful melodies become the defining pillars of this new music ensemble.
