ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Out of adversity comes natural talent. Through struggle comes frustration. And finally, through skill comes undeniable fact. LSP sometimes known as the backpacking emcee displays all of these character traits. For well over ten years Hip Hop has played a major role in his life.

The passion for the music spawns from a burning nuclease that consists of pain from the murder of his father, love for his family, current events, and the ability to cleverly use metaphors in his style of rhyme. This alone fuels the fire and passion that is displayed through the wordplay that you will hear.

Currently in N.C. but originally from Manhattan, NY, the now 29yr old LSP has been free-styling and writing music for over 14 years now and has been no stranger to hip hop by any means. From attending the freestyle battle in Orlando to doing shows with the likes of Daddy Yankee during a brief stint in Florida. As he is no stranger to hip hop, hip hop is no stranger to LSP. He has worked with, collaborated, and/or battled with names such as, Okwerdz, Jin, Shellz, Ice T, De La Soul, Daddy Yankee, Terror Squad, Supastition, Termonalogy, Thristen Howl III, Nicky Jam, Rubio y Joel, Iron Solomon, Madd Illz, Glue, Blueprint, DJ Green Lantern, DJ Flipcyide, and many more. The list furthers also extends itself with his numerous achievements. The name LSP is burned into history with achievements such as having been in and/or won Blaze Battle, he is a two-time BET Black College Tour Champ, MTV Def Jam Battle, three-time HIN Champ, two-time Dub Mag. Champ, Power 98fm’s 1st inductee to the Rap Hall OF FAME, Finalist in Breaklanta 6, Lounge Battles 5, and many more. LSP also is a rising star in the world's biggest rap battle league www.grindtimenow.com

Like Bruce Wayne transforms into Batman, LSP turns into the EMCEE eating beast that you see; who in his heart resides no mercy. In this day music is primarily ruled by gimmick dances and chants that lack any more thought then three grown men in a room dancing. LSP is here to cleanse the city of lost hope. The familiar road can be shaped and molded, without movement it becomes stale and dry rotted. And change to the familiar road LSP Brings……

Thomas Handsome

Borderline Classic
LSP displays the shocking lyrical skill that you know him for to perfection on his joint with Weatherman Copywrite, "John Travolta used to fly planes until his only Jet crashed...." and "I can't help it like Anna Nicole's baby being cross-eyed.." stick out as some favorites of mine (without giving away too much).

"Dance With The Moon" is where LSP starts to show his more developed, polished lyrical side. He opens up to the world with an ease that most would be afraid of, while still remaining as shocking as 2 in the pink and 1 in the stink.

Every track on the EP is on the verge of classic, however the best record on this project is the Infamous/G-Unit DJ Flicpyide produced "The Whole World's Against Me". Dealing with death, children, doubters and love he still manages to flip us all off while relating to issues even the most common of people deal with at one point or another.

My discriptions too brief?

Can't believe I didn't even acknowledge a track called "My Wife's A Transexual Satan Worshiper"?!

Well the buy the damn album!
