ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Little Roots is an early childhood music program in western Massachusetts created by musicians Maggie Shar (of The Ephemeral Stringband) and Annie Lynch Stevenson (of Annie and The Beekeepers).

Annie Stevenson and Maggie Shar, recognize the value of quality live music for people of all ages and select and write songs rooted in a variety of musical traditions: American Folk, Oldtime music, West African, American Indian, Gospel, Irish Trad, Rock, Jazz and Blues amongst others. The repertoire is fun and accessible, including elements of storytelling , movement, and exposure to a variety of instruments.
