ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Notting Hill Music is proud to announce the first full-length album release by legendary Nashville singer - songwriter LESLIE SATCHER since her signing a major deal with the powerhouse publisher's new label NHMM. While Leslie has been primarily known as a country artist, her talents undeniably cross all genres with her songs having been recorded by everyone from Willie Nelson, George Strait and Merle Haggard to Bonnie Raitt, Sheila E and Keb’Mo & Taj Mahal. Her new project, “Two Days In Muscle Shoals”, explodes into so much more and presses firmly toward the hottest new musical genre making a name for solid songcraft; "Americana". With healthy nods to the blues and a wink to the Southern Rock that made "The Shoals" famous, Leslie's Texas country/blues influences like Stevie Ray Vaughan are well represented while effectively channeling the spirit that is Muscle Shoals, Alabama. This comes as little surprise when you see the ‘cast of characters’ involved in the epic two day session captured at the Grammy Award winning NuttHouse Studios .
Producer and native Muscle Shoals hitmaker Brad Crisler "produced" a hand-picked who's-who collection of the most elite players including James LeBlanc (Martina McBride, Jason Aldean , Kenny Chesney) , Jim ‘Moose’ Brown (Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band) , David Hood (original Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section bass player!) and Tommy Harden (Reba McEntire , Candi Staton , Alan Jackson) . Add to the mix SUPERSTAR guest vocalists such as Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill and Sheryl Crow; the latter two being featured on the instantly radio friendly single "This Won't Take Long”. As if this weren't enough; ACM and AMA award winning band member Heidi Newfield (Trick Pony) turns this record up to "11"! It’s clear to see Leslie’s Notting Hill Music debut is a landmark moment in an already stellar and illustrious career.
