Album Notes
“Infectious beat-filled album…Killer In You are really getting the dance-rock collision right…ones to watch in 2013!” - Hybrid

"tons of potential here, and plenty of ambition.... these Cardiff-based guys don’t sound like a band on their first single!" Miniature Music Press

Killer In You are akin to two musical comets colliding and causing one colossal sound explosion.

Made up of a collective of writers/producers - Andy Huntley, Steve Jones, Dave Cauvain and Chris Bangs, Killer In You describe their sound as 'bass music meets rock’, fusing thumping basslines and dirty synths, with exploding guitar riffs and hooky melodies.

Killer In You was born from writer/musician Andy Huntley’s love of simple guitar-basedriffs and Steve Jones’ prowess in producing electronic music. Working on individual music projects at the time, the pair began experimenting with different sounds in the studio together, incorporating their eclectic musical influences from Rage Against The Machine, Pearl Jam, Hybrid and Muse, to Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Pendulum and Chase and Status, to produce a hybrid of thunderous drum and bass beats and screeching rockguitars imbued with rapturous energy.

Bringing together the sound created in the studio and transforming it to a live act wasalways the mission and the most exciting element for Andy and Steve, and it was agreed that more organic instruments were needed, resulting in Dave Cauvain and Chris ‘Bangsy’ Bangs being drafted in as permanent members.
Each member brings an abundance of experience and musical style to Killer In You.Andy (vocal/guitar) was front-man of Welsh rock band, Audiocalm, playing tour dates with the likes of Snow Patrol, Jack Penate and Mr Hudson, appearing at major festivals across the UK and has received BBC and Billboard song-writing awards. He has signed tracks to pioneering German trance label, Redux Recordings, published with High Fashion Music B.V. due for release in 2013. Steve Jones (producer/synth) has been producing music for more than 20 years and is one half of breaks and drum and bass fusion act, Staedler & Waldorf. His first five releases as Groovy Onion all placed in the top 5 in the dance chart and secured remix projects for Lee Coombes. He has several releases on labels including Aardvark Records, Carbon Blanche and most recently Global State Recordings. Meanwhile, fresh from his role as bassist/writer for 'VWF' and 'This is Radio Freedom', Dave (bass) hasappeared alongside Primal Scream, Iggy Pop and the Charlatans, touring the East Coast of America and Canada; whilst Bangsy (guitar) has been guitarist for Cardiff-based bands, SAL and Ninja Pigeon in previous years.

Individually they add their own creative flair and dimension to Killer In You combining to
produce a refreshing, versatile approach to both production and song-writing, ensuring that their musical journey will take them to all places!

2013 is set to be a busy year for Killer In You. It kicks off with the release of their debut single ‘Break Control’, followed by a host of live shows across the UK and the release of their long-awaited debut album,‘Signs’. ‘Signs’ has been mixed and mastered by Paul Durrant and Nic Palmer at Stir Studios, Cardiff (Catatonia, Bullet For My Valentine, Stereophonics, Super Furry Animals).
