ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
What do you do after years of fronting bands stretching from 80's indie rock to CBGB’s punk? You stop and start again. In January of 2003, John Gerard picked up his acoustic guitar and embarked on a journey to tell the only story he knew, his own.

Born in Paris, France, John grew up listening to Billy Joel, The Police, and Serge Gainsbourg, "the dirty mouth of French pop". After moving to Massachusetts at a young age, John was introduced to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Minor Threat, and Iron Maiden. These new sounds inspired John. He formed band at 14 and played his first gig one year later. After several other bands, John is now a solo musician and song writer.

John has captured audiences with his amazing three octave vocal range, driving guitar work, and emotional charged stage presence. He is emerging artist with a passion for story telling and brutal honesty. His energy is contagious and his true talents of expressing emotions are evident.
