ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Eternal life in the presence of the Almighty...can such a treasure be found in your email spam folder? Absolutely, and that’s exactly what Joel D’ Jesus witnessed. Although there was no room for God in his plans growing up, little did he know God always had him in His. “With a life full of contingencies, and a heart full of pride, there I was, digitally shredding my emails after a day’s work when salvation knocked. Outside of God’s mysterious plans, that email had no chance. From the heading, it was evident that it was a mass chain email...one I would have never opened or read, but I’m glad I did. Upon reading the simple, yet profound truth...Jesus loves you beyond the imaginable, my heart was pierced, my walls were broken, and as my old self was being washed away with every tear, a new man was born.”

Looking back, Joel can now see how God was always the artist behind the canvas of his life, adding shades of color at every turning point. “I know there was no coincidence in being the first in my immediate family to accept Christ, and subsequently a vessel for the rest to follow Him; that my best friend for the last 18 years would not only be called to Pastorship, but would end up being my pastor; that I would become the Founder & CEO of a divinely inspired apparel and music company - one with a mission to spread the Gospel via artistic expressions wrapped with a message of Hope; and the list goes on...”

God’s intervention in Joel’s life is practically palpable. Yet, this is simply the result of depositing all trust in the One who opens and closes all doors. “I’m extremely thankful and humbled by the opportunity God is given me to share the gift of music.” Initially as a singer in a few secular bands, later on as a music industry professional; and presently (according to Joel) the most fulfilling role of all...a worship minister onto God...a Psalmist. “As the Lord once told me: I have been the one waking you up early.... Start writing for I will give you the kinds of songs I want you to sing.” These words resonate deep within Joel’s memory. He can vividly remember the teary eyes of that Prophet as she delivered God’s message. Two days later, he received the first portion of God’s promise, titled “Todo Lo Que Soy” (“Everything I Am”). A song Joel describes as a reflection of the love Jesus Christ has for us, and the personal significance of the cross. “Todo Lo Que Soy” is also the title track of Joel’s debut album. A unique blend of rock and progressive pop, featuring five original songs. Currently, Joel is working on his sophomore album of which "Me Guiara Tu Luz" is the first radio single.

“My hope is that the Lord may continue to use me as a vessel of honor and that through my ministry people can be set free, be healed, and come to the knowledge of Christ. That every person on earth could at some point in their life experience the amazing love of God, and in that process surrender everything they are and could be in exchange for God’s perfect will.”
