Album Notes
Seximer: this EP contains remixes of tracks from the joe DOE albums Democalypse and Be Middle Class or Die Trying (recorded under his former stage name, D-O-E), featuring guest vocalists and musicians: Christel South, Randy Stockton (of GrimWitcH), Thomas Scott Farrell, Cherie O, Time Traveling Terrapin, Ecks and Dubby Dub.

joe DOE is a hybrid music artist from the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York, USA. He is the creator of a genre called sykophunk, which he describes as “underground hip hop influenced by metal, gothic and electronica, bitch-slapped with humor and sarcasm, and then power-bombed into an ocean of social and spiritual consciousness.” Music that disregards cliché boundaries, connecting different paths of life on a mission for the rEvolution Underground.

As a co-producer through KHAOS Records, I am never surprised by anything joe Doe ever does music-wise (mostly because my expectations are always exceeding for him). The remixes came out beautifully, offering 2 versions of a few songs from his last album: "Democalypse" (which actually featured the original "Sick S**T" there are 3 versions and this one is the best! Making use of every instrument and crossing through nearly every genre - from acoustic guitars and singing, to Death Metal drums in "Epic Awesomeness", to "Battle Scars" featuring Christel South. The album is as close to perfect as it can get. 5 stars.
