Album Notes
Joe Benoit is a singer/songwriter based in New York City who grew up in Middletown, NJ. He has performed in numerous bands in the New York Metro area since the early 2000s. Joe wrote all of the songs and performed all of the parts on his debut solo album Rock and Roll Revolution, which was released in 2010. The album featured a mix of melodic acoustic tracks and guitar-driven rock and roll. He was the front man, guitarist, and principal songwriter of the New York-based band The Regulars, which was active from 2010 until 2014. During that time, the band released two EPs.

Joe’s recent music has been featured on many different radio programs across the globe. His current songs find Joe positioned somewhere between hard rock and power pop from the 1970s, jangly pop from the 1960s and alternative rock from the 1990s while still managing to sound fresh and original. Fans of artists such as Tom Petty, Cheap Trick, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Queen, CSNY, Big Star, The Raspberries, The Replacements, Matthew Sweet, Gin Blossoms, or Soul Asylum should find something to like in Joe’s catalog. He is thrilled to finally release Too Old to Be a Rock Star, his second full-length solo album. It is available as a digital download and as a 180 gram vinyl LP. As with his first solo effort, Joe co-produced the album with Sam K. Shaw. Joe’s music can be streamed and downloaded on all the major digital platforms and at his website.
