ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jeremy D. Simmons is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, composer and engineer from Richmond, VA. His style of music is vast and takes the listener back in time. He possesses a knack for incorporating multiple hooks, both lyrically and musically into his songs. He has played and recorded professionally for over thirty years. There is a "comfort food" quality to his music and the groove is inescapable. In a DIY world Simmons is most certainly a forerunner, engineering, mixing and producing his own work in his "Elephant Ear Studios". Look for more to come from him and other multi talented artists on Elephant Ear Records.

"Jeremy D. Simmons is one of the strongest musicians in town. On his debut album he evokes a sonic piecemeal of sorts and the results are stellar. Pie In The Sky is the result of years crafting a musical identity beyond re imagining of influence. Simmons stands out as a unique voice in a city with a wealth of them." - RVA Magazine
