James Barbour
James Barbour has, hands down, one of the most amazing singing voices heard for many generations. When you listen to the stories he shares about his development as an artist, you feel like you're being let in on the secret of the pathway to greatness. Listening to him is a transcendent experience.

Incredible voice
...that takes your breath away. His performance as Sydney Carton in A Tale of Two Cities Must be preserved in a cast album, please!

I bought this after I saw him on a Tale of Two Cities, it\'s an amazing cd, even though it has the already mentioned spoken parts it\'s still worth every penny!!!

James Barbour
Wonder CD! What a wonderful voice! Wish he had more songs to put on a cd.

James Barbour has one of the most stunningly beautiful singing voices of anyone I've ever heard. One of the nicest things to me is (as can easily be observed in the dialogue portions on this CD) how NATURAL his rich baritone truly is, as it extends even to his speaking voice. I first heard Mr. Barbour's voice on the cast recording of "Jane Eyre: The Musical", and have never looked back.

The only semi-drawback to this live recording is that the afore-mentioned dialogue sections, while very interesting upon the first listen, can get tedious as you eventually just wish you could skip to the actual songs. Anyway, this is a small price to pay for such glorious renditions of some really great songs! "Molasses T'Rum" alone is more than worth the price of the entire CD. It really doesn't get better than James!

What a lovely CD!
His charm is full.
It is heard repeatedly.

James is one of the greatest leading men on Broadway and this CD is magnificent! His voice and the passion in which he sings these great songs is breathtaking. All his performances are extraordinary. He has the unique ability to transcend himself and take on characters with depth and move his audiences like only a true talented artist of the Theatre can do. It is no small fete to be able to allow an audience to forget the trials and tribulations of life and to take them to a place where art meets life. James takes us by the hand and moves us into the world of the character he portrays. We are with him and nothing else exists and the moments become breathtaking memories. We are blessed by his talents on stage and this CD is a chance to basque in this man's incredible talent. The Theatre World has been blessed by many great actors. James Barbour will go down among the greatest. We should be so lucky as to have him on the Broadway Stage every season. The Theatre and we, the audince, would be a very lucky pair.

Simply wonderful. I first saw James Barbour in Jane Eyre and loved his voice. Recently saw him in 1776 and have become a fan all over again. Mr. Barbour, you have such an amazing voice. I get goosebumps listening to you sing. The clarity, tone and richness to your voice is outstanding!! Can I give you 10 stars for this CD?!!! Hope to be able to see you in concert at Hofstra U. Please make more CD's and don't ever stop singing.

Purchased it at the theatre after seeing Mr. Barbour\'s performance in the role of Sidney Carton. There are not enough superlatives within the English
Language to express the extraordinary range of talent that he possesses. His command of the nuances of the spoken word, his phrasing, his acting, and of course his singing is beyond accolades that mere mortals can only strive to attain. He has been kissed by the Gods!

James Barbour
has an amazing voice! I\'ve had the pleasure of seeing him on stage in 2 different plays, and this album captures his beautiful rich baritone. I wish the CD was longer!! Great job!
