ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Interstate Stash Express is a power trio playing fusion music by way of blues guitar, funk bass, and rock-and-roll drums. Based in the Rocky Mountains near Lyons, CO, they have been writing and performing music together for nearly a decade. Terry Kishiyama (guitar), Thom McKee (drums) and James Smith (bass) all founding members continue to push their musical journey to a new dimension as they explore and experiment with harmonies of the soul. Their music can be simple roots to perplexing and improvisational explosions of cosmic tones.

Their latest release, Evacuee, in June 2018 is a concept record about a Colorado Flood and the state of being displaced and the instinctual desire to find your way home.
