Album Notes
MC Tony Hall was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Tony was introduced to hip-hop through a childhood friend. Tony remembers, \"The first rap tape I ever heard was Boogie Down Productions and KRS ONE\", Between 2000 and 2006, Tony dropped four independent albums under the stage name Solja Boy. in 2007, he recorded music under his government name due to controversy surrounding what he calls \"identity theft\'. Tony connected with Michael Chambers, president of Cream Factory Records at a performance in a Bay Area (northern California- nightclub. Chambers and Hall hit if off both being from the Carolinas. Tony signed with Cream Factory due to is roster containing northern cali and southern artist. \"We listen to a lot of bay music in the south because it hits hard in the trunk\". Tony explains \'they\'re 9the bay) also known for being the birh place for indie music\". Cream Factory Records is the Civil Union between North and South. Tony Hall brings his southern twang to Cream Factory Records. The Tony Hall Show blends northern and southern producers over hard hitting tracks and a strong lyrical content. Music you can dance to, ride to or chill to describe this project. the production is clever and with the knocker \"Do Your Own Dance\' its snap meets get low. Audiences will appreciate the musical blends keeping true to each region.
