Album Notes
"The Green and Yellow TV are now at the very forefront of L.A. rock, and it's time you realized it. Record X is the L.A. album of the summer."
-L.A.Mean Street

"The Beach Boys, Beatles and Who are dead. Who's to carry the melodic, harmony rich mantle now that all the trailblazers are gone? The Green and Yellow TV, that's who. These are elegant ditties performed by smart kids who know a hell of a lot more than three chords and a hook."
-Splendid Magazine

"The Green and Yellow TV undoubtedly boast some of the best harmonies in rock today."
-New Times (Los Angeles)

..."The Green and Yellow TV are at the start of what may very well be something big."
-Shake It Up Magazine

Return to Innocence, It's about time, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!!!
This CD was a refreshing reminder of yesteryear. The modern day angst has run its course.

CD Baby

Calling on the great pop artists of the British Invasion past and present, these guys sculpt a batch of new sounds to praise their beloved Southern California sunshine. This is a magnificent follow-up to their 2000 release, ''As Performed By...", and from the way I've been humming the massive hooks, I'd have to say that their SUPERfantastic songwriting and bouncy harmonies have claimed my allegiance all over again. Easily one of my favorite pop records of the year.

Georges Autuic

My favorite band is here
Many times I have listened to pop records, and many times I have understand what makes a record great.

This record is great like the Beatles and Led Zeplin. This record is without mistakes which means it is a perfect record.

The people who know this record will listen well to it for many years ahead.

Amazing Tunes
I have been waiting for this CD my entire life. I can't get enough of the happy upbeat tunes. So glad I stumbled upon The Green and Yellow TV. Will definitely be getting more!

Robert Ciccotosto

Short and sweet ... a modern masterpiece.
Simply a great album. Clocking in at just over 26 glorious minutes, these 10 tracks are perfect, British Invasion-style songs, yet are completely modern. The harmonies are especially exquisite. Highlights (on an album full of them) include C'mon Girls (my favorite), In With You, Hawaiian Saucers, and the closer, Benedictus, which features the most incredible harmony vocals of the entire album.

A Definite 5 out of 5 stars, over the top.Genius lyrics, catchy riffs. If you like Rooney or any other artist in what I would call the "California Dreami'n pop."You will not regret this cd purchase.

Janne Burke

Beatles-y but not too derivative
Melodic and sweet without being syrupy and cloying, this is easy to listen to but not Easy Listening. TG&YTV have crafted their PopRock well with thoughtful lyrics and lovely harmonies. They have landed solidly on my Bands to Watch list, and have assured my purchase of their next recording.

A new favorite for sure!
Amazing harmonies, reminiscent at times of Jellyfish and Queen. One of my new favorites, great to play in the car on either a sunny or rainy day!

Green and Yellow
This CD is really fun. I think this is a great CD to drive around with your windows down enjoying the day with a good friend. Just being silly and laughing about old times.

Superbly Crafted Pop Rock
Kinda arty, kinda rockin, and ultimately all good. That pretty much sums up The Green And Yellow TV's "Record X". Reminiscent of another band that tried to forge the same path of intelligent rock-pop several years ago, The Cavedogs (from Boston), LA's TG&YTV deserves to be heard, and hopefully will establish a large following with their wonderful music.
