Fred Camfield

An earlier CD
Recorded live in 2007, just when his career was taking off, this has unusually good quality for a live recording at a club. It ha 14 cuts (an intro and 13 songs) and features Eddie Cotton, Jr. The songs are mostly his originals, but it includes a few by other songwriters including the well know "I'm Ready" written by Willie Dixon. I highly recommend the CD. I had the good fortune to get a ticket to hear him at the Coral Room in the Vicksburg when he was back home in Mississippi. Usually he is on tour, and was scheduled to head to Europe as I write this. If you manage to catch up with him on tour, you can get autographed copies of his CDs. See also his later CD, "Dreamin."
