ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
If you want to listen to the whole track go to my website www.glennrogers.net

This was my first CD and I wanted to compose and play all the music on it. It really was a labour of love, and strongly influenced by the record label ECM ie composers like Ralph Towner, Pat Metheny and John Mclaughlin to name a few.
Ants Feet is perfect for meditation, yoga or relaxation.

This CD was quite personal experience for me it was a time when I was breaking away from my classical and conservatorium training. I recordrd it over 2 years
and I still think it is one of my best CD's.

I now have five CDs and my new CD has just come out 'Inside In'. It is acoustic indian fusion and is available on CD baby or just go to 'Audio/CD' on www.glennrogers.net for more info.

Sublime
I came a cross Glenn Rogers performing at the UWA student Guild about 10 years ago. I have numerous CDs purchased following a brief hearing and perhaps an even briefer conversation with street artists and I tucked away Ants Feet and thought little of it. When I returned to the UK some weeks later I played the CD one Sunday morning and was just blown away by the crystal clear acoustic. Its an established firm family favourite often heard in the background and a backdrop for those precious unhurried w/e mornings. For my three girls now beginning to drift away and setting up their own lives, this is one of few CDs that defines those slow family Sunday mornings and strong family associations. Its just a lovely timeless piece of work and I am so glad that chance meeting at the Guild led to the CD coming back to the UK.
