Shadowlands

by Glass Hammer

Glass Hammer's Shadowlands delivers everything that modern progressive rock should: the vintage sounds, the contemporary production, the epic style. Once more the Hammond screams and the Moog soars. Prog is alive and well; Shadowlands is proof.

Interesting eclectic stuff, serves up dreamy imagery, brilliant harmonies
It'll take a few listens before I really get into the zone. But there is hope! The classical bits initally turn me off, but . . . . Very nice production. I love the B3/pipe organ sound. There is potential here, but probably not very commercially viable. Why? It's too intelligent and you have to listen critically! Run Lisette is my favourite at this point. Overall a good if not fantastic purchase. But... time heals all and I may be gaga over it in the future! Note to the band: is the Title connected in any way with Stephen King writings, specifically the Gunslinger saga???
