Album Notes
FolkLaw are five young lads from the South West UK playing exhilarating original songs and traditionally inspired modern folk music which is guaranteed to get your feet tapping, your mind thinking and your festival-feet jumping! Exceptional fiddle riffs and earthy vocals are interwoven with wonderfully distinctive vocal harmonies and the bodhran drum, as the FolkLaw boys deliver a subtle reflective social commentary nestled within a patchwork of inspirational songs and melodies. In their live performances FolkLaw are well known for their crowd-surfing fiddle antics and energized stage prescence and that same raw passion and enthusiam for both music and life shines through on this disc.

"The Tales That They Tell" is FolkLaws second album and features a full line-up of Nick Gibbs, Bryn Williams, Gaz Hunt, Marty Fitzgibbon and Lyndon Webb as the lads play their hearts out with some of the very best FolkLaw songs written over the past two years. This fantastic album features some of the lads most eagerly anticipated material including Seeds of Freedom, Leaves of Gold, Some way Somehow, Gypsy Rain and Tales That They Tell, in a superb compilation of 10 previously unrecorded tracks.

Prior to forming FolkLaw, Nick played fiddle with the Bleeding Hearts Folk Rock outfit and toured North America and Europe supporting artists such as The Levellers, The Oysterband, The Damned, The Darkness and Shane Macgowan
