Album Notes
Floater's roots grow in the fertile musical soil of the great Pacific Northwest. With legendary live performances and two Grammy nominations, the trio produces music that critics have called "the nearest American thing to perfection."

Singer/songwriter Rob Wynia crafts rhythms and melodies with a unique, skillful blend of passion and precision. The songs transition from heartbreaking rock wails to beautiful sonic tapestries and back again without missing a beat. And somehow it always feels exactly right.

The prowess of Peter Cornett (drums, percussion) and David Amador (acoustic and lap-steel guitars) is made powerfully clear in their work here. Cornett's drum work ranges from tribal, to jazzy to rock and all points in between. Amador's guitar work shines throughout, like the strange love-child of Andy Summers and David Gilmour, pulling you in and holding you there.

The joy and pain shared by these three in making this music can be heard in every song. It's no wonder the legion of fans of Floater is growing with every listen.

unbelievable performance
Finally an acoustic album so that fans can hear their acoustic show at home. This is an absolute must have for true fans and new ones alike. The album is almost as good as the show itself!!!!
After years of listening to these three, you can hear how their music and feelings have matured, but yet, they have remained, unmistakably, FLOATER.
This is one of their best albums, to date.

Lovin' Floater from Hawaii
I've been a fan of Floater since they were playing John Henry's before Sink, and I love everything about them. I own every album that's ever been released, and it's wonderful to hear another acoustic album. I look forward to seeing them live in November at the McDonald and hope they can be convinced to cross the Pacific some day to play on the big island of Hawaii.
