A Call To Action
I absolutely love this album. Note that I don’t come from a Hip-Hop background which should give you some insight on the strength of this release from The Figureheads. The love the rhythm of these songs and the intelligent lyrics will stir truth in your soul.

Greg Marshall and Jeremy Bryan open their hearts on this album. One cannot listen without leaving with a desire to see a better, more inclusive world. They are a call to action. The truth spoken in these songs is delivered with conviction rarely heard, and I find that this is what pushes this release from great to exceptional.

In a lot of ways, this album reminds me of the early days of the Clash or during the political reggae era when masters like Junior Delgado delivered knock-out punches like “Sons of Slaves”. Don’t get me wrong, this record is true to the Hip-Hop genre with Dave Olson laying down some solid yet innovative back beats. I had no idea someone made Hip-Hop that mattered like this. Thanks Figureheads!
