ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Enter: Louis Farrar. The six foot three giant moves through the crowded Atlanta airport easily, lips curled into a slight and confident smile. This is the kind of man they grow in the dirty south, in the Crescent shaped city famous for its jazz and jambalaya, and infamous for its dirty deals and perpetual vice driven parties.
“New Orleans aint never heard nothing like this!” They told him. They were right. The music is a powerful mix of modern Electronic Funk inspired by the musical innovations of Prince in the 80’s and the earthquake beats of Hip-Hop in its continued metamorphosis over the last two and a half decades. Funk, Trance, Techno and Hip-Hop fused together to become what Farrar calls Cinematic Hip-Hop. At a recent studio session Farrar said, “All those years in the studio, working with Black Matrix and the Nubian Front finally paid off. Thank God. People are gonna’ like this”.

Great tunes. I'm a 17 year old student and love eclectic music, I think this artists can compete with if not dominate new wave today. If the Neptunes can sell millions, so can Mr. Louis Farrar.

Awesome
This mix is jamming! It is soothing, yet hip. You can dance, chill or both. The different tunes take you on an eclectic ride. I recommend this as a download! It rocks!

Great CD! Should get plenty of playtime in the dance clubs and perhaps movie sou
Electronic Funk is alive and well in this CD. While I don't frequent the dance clubs anymore, I found myself tapping my feet and bobbin' my head to most of the sample cuts I heard.
Beats are fresh, not same ole, same ole. There's enough bass to thump in your ride and the mix is tight. I wasn't fatiqued after reviewing the tracks. I'm looking forward to hearing the whole project.Buy this CD, you won't be disappointed.
