ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A beat you can't help move your feet to. This cutting-edge San Diego band will releasing its long awaited full length CD, Keep On Movin', summer of 2004. This highly anticipated recording will debut the 21 year-old singing sensation, Cassandra Anderson (check-out the first single, a cover of Nena's "80's pop hit," 99 Luftballoons - done in German). This high profile CD will also launch the producing career of Sebastian Robertson, an up and coming star in his own right, and producing team of Sebastian & Robin Moxey, soon to be two of the most sought after producers in the music world. Sebastian is the son of legendary guitarist, Robbie Robertson (Bob Dylan, The Band) and follows in his father's footsteps producing records (see www.hollywoodandvine.com/robbierobertson for more info on Robbie's producing career). This upcoming CD by The Fabulous Rudies also includes the single Help Me, which features a guest performance by the Gin Blossoms, Jesse Valenzuela. The CD doesn't stop there, Peter DiStefano (Porno For Pyros), is featured on the ballad-single, Wheels, sure to be a fan favorite. Jeddrah Schmit (the daughter of The Eagles' Timothy B. Schmit) adds to the female vocals nicely on the songs, Finding Understanding & Forget It. The record also touts the best drummer in the business in Mann Frazier, and includes the infamous cult single, Richard Gere. This CD recording is sure to be a grand hit and a nice follow up to The Fabulous Rudies huge success from their EP, Education (Fun One Records), released over the summer of 2003. The band's song, Forget It, charted to #24 on the Adult Contemporary (AC) Charts in New Music Weekly and broke into the Top 100 Pop Singles to #89. From this success, the rudie lads were able to do a production deal with Jeff Gordon (DreamWorks) and create this amazing record. The CD was recorded at the Village Recording Studios (W. Los Angeles, CA - www.villagestudios.com) with Engineer and Grammy Award winner, Mark Johnson (Keb' Mo', Ricki Lee Jones) from which the band will first release tracks to down-load "very soon" on their Web site @ www.fabrudies.com, before releasing the actual CD in stores. The quality of this new CD is rivaled only by the group's incredible performances, both musically and visually. The Fabulous Rudies are on their way to bring back "the band" as a driving force in popular music.
