Album Notes
Eddie Robinson is ‘Back on Track’ with this powerful and creative new project. This project is a’ tasteful’ combination of both traditional and contemporary music styles. Initials, “Gm,” have nothing to do with the famous automobile corporation. They abbreviate the expression, “Global Man.” They also help distinguish this Eddie Robinson from others with a similar name.
As a songwriter, Eddie wrote some of his biggest Gospel hits that have continued popularity from the 70’s until today. One example is the song, “He Keeps Doing Great Things for Me,” which was originally recorded by Tessie Hill, and then LaShun Pace, MC Hammer, Bishop TD Jakes, and a number of others who helped this song become a legendary standard.” Other great songs include “Don’t Forget to Remember (where All Your Blessings Come From),” recorded by the late James Cleveland live at New York’s Madison Square Garden, with 1000 voices. Secular recordings include, “Ocean of Thoughts & Dreams,” “Reflections of the Man Inside (Let the life you live be a reflection of the man inside),” and “Brand New,” are only a few titles from an extensive catalog. Among a number of legendary singers and musicians joining Eddie in this outstanding production are, Gold & Platinum recording artists, Tessie Hill (Great Things), the exceptional E.J. Johnson (Lead singer of renown singing group, “Enchantment”), Loretta Oliver (Former lead singer of Chicago’s famous Thompson Community Choir), one of the greatest Gospel choirs anywhere, the legendary John Eberhart Community Choir, and one of the most talented and professional group of Gospel singers, the Dynamic Soul Superiors, and the small lady with the unusually huge voice, Quintella “QT” Caldwell, a queen of Gospel in her own right, and daughter of legendary Detroit pastor, J. Allen Caldwell). Another dynamic voice in this CD is the dynamic and powerful all-around Gospel singer, Sandra Dawson. The list continues with a musician, singer, songwriter representing the island of Puerto, Rico, Miguel Chacon. George & Philamon Kiranbi are from Kenya, East Africa), the rich, talented soprano voice of Wardeen Bell (USA) and the multi-talented percussionist and vocal artist, Robert Pastor Miguel Chacon and Robert Owens (of Atlanta Georgia).
Musicians on this album have played with Marvin Gaye, Stevie, Curtis Mayfield, the Four Tops, The Dramatics, Earl Klugh and the Parliament. In addition to Eddie Robinson (Keys), this list of multi-talented-great musicians include Bobby Franklin II (drums/ guitar), Fred Hutson (bass), and Simone Vitali (acoustic Guitar), The late Hubie Crawford bass and Al Jones, (soprano & alto sax solos), Maruga Booker (playing original custom made percussions), Terry Stewart (drums), Derick Halloway, (electric guitar) were among the great musicians who came together to make this project a unforgettable experience that can now be shared with all.
The greatest story about this project is the experience of playing and praying together changed the lives of the musicians, singers, engineers, and all those involved in the making of this project. Lives touched by the Holy Spirit are now changed lives forever. The anointing that was pouring is now over- flowing. Songs for this project were carefully selected to provide not only music but also inspiration. You will not be disappointed. This project is titled, “Back on Track,” was recorded in the USA, Detroit, Chicago, and in Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. Music was written, arranged & produced by Eddie Robinson Gm for PPM Productions and Permanent Power Music, BMI. Eddie Robinson Gm is back in the USA, back in the Gospel “groove,” and “Back on Track!”

I'm One of Your Students
Bro Eddie?
I don't know if you remember me, but I was the little boy that came with Willie Wilingham to church and played the saxophone with Fred Birt and a couple of other musicians on one of your main concerts when you were at First Baptist Church of North Fontana (now Loveland Christian Center)......It's because of the Christ in you and your music that I have the same anointing.....Thank you sir for depositing so much into my life.....A whole lot of what I am now is because of you.....the songs are absolutely God inspired.........when you get the chance, take a look at my cds too right here on CdBaby........

God Bless You Sir.......

Bro. Eddie you have done it again. You have created an incredible new CD which showcases the nuance and style that has inspired, influenced and uplifted many over the years. This work is truly a "Reflection of the Man Inside". God bless and I wish you much success in this undertaking.
