ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
'Damascus' is Elias.T.Hoth's 12th album to date. It still contains all the raw energy from his previous albums whilst continuing to evolve and reflect his state of mind to date. Always in turmoil, this album is a continuation of his emotions. Having been in the desert of life for so long,, bereft of human touch and in pain, he stumbles across an oasis of love and light. This is his Damascus moment. It is being offered to him. It is what he wants, what he always wanted. Now that it is finally here, is he allowed to have it? Does he know what to do with it? Indeed will it wash his pain away? Does he deserve it even? Or is it too late? This album reflects the struggle of what he has found. He wants to keep it. But is he capable of keeping it because he knows the pain it can cause? The tracks reflect both the agony, 'We'll Never Make Love Again' and the ecstasy 'These Are Better Days'. 'Like The First Time' is a beautiful love song. "Love is the Price You Must Pay' is about the pain of losing a loved one. 'Hold me Right Now' another beautiful song. And then you have the good old ETH battle hardened rock numbers of 'Let Loose The Dogs Of War' and 'I'm On The Run'. There is something on this album for everyone and each track better than the last. It will make you laugh, cry and dance. That is the genius of this man. He makes you feel. And one thing you will not feel is disappointed.
