ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Written, performed, recorded, and mixed by D. Cody Martin in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Mastered by Dave Collins.

Album cover art by Scott Buoncristiano.

The debut single from Echohead features infectious melodies set against a backdrop of guitar-driven hard rock, drawing inspiration from the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Stone Temple Pilots, and Soundgarden.

Echohead is the hard rock brain child of D. Cody Martin. Approaching the project with a full-on DIY attitude, Martin wrote all the songs and performed all the instruments, and also recorded and mixed the entire project himself.

For the mastering phase, Martin sought outside expertise, enlisting veteran mastering engineer Dave Collins (Soundgarden, Fu Manchu, Metallica, Mark Lanegan, Alain Johannes), while gifted artist Scott Buoncristiano (who has worked with the likes of Mastodon and the Melvins) created the stunning album cover.
