Album Notes
"a band on the verge of something big."
-pop culture press, 2004

an underground band regarded for their cult fanbase and prolific output, The Drown has accomplished much in a mere 2-year period. Their steady output of albums and make them a significant presence in the indie circles of zines, downloads and word of mouth. recently, they've been working with producer Mark Plati (The Cure: Bloodflowers, David Bowie: Earthling) in the East Village, and preparing a tour of Europe for 2006. for further info, refer to

shear genius, an upbeat treat.
This will get your soul dancing , Wm Byron has one of the most distinctive, instinctive voices in rock today. Can`t wait for the next album. Wonderous!!!!!!!!

a feast for the senses
Listening to 'Twins' is an epic experince, particularly in headphones, with the volume turned up as high as you can stand it without your ears bleeding.
This is some of their finest work to date, and it's clear that both artists and producer have found the magic formula to consistently astound listeners with music that takes you to dizzying, toe-curling heights and leaves you quivering and sweaty on the floor, exhausted and aching for more.

I'm a fan from Seattle, WA and words can't describe my ecstacy and elation over this band... they deserve a lot more than a cult following, in my opinion!! the 7+ minute title track is sheer brilliance, the avant-garde answer to Queen's "Bohememean Rhapsody" in regards to sheer scope, layers, and drama. Buy this. it's that good.
