Album Notes
Yoga Nidra is the art of conscious deep relaxation. The body is asleep but the mind is awake and an active participant in the healing process. In this state, you can access the subtle flow of energy in your body and use your awareness to remove blockages and support the healing of your body and mind.

The practice of Yoga Nidra is thousands of years old and was used traditionally to create one's experience of reality. It is believed that through this technique, we can organize the elements of the world to build our dreams. In the state of Yoga Nidra, you consciously create a dream and see yourself as you would like to be. The universe (Divine) does the rest. What will you see? The focus of this CD is healing. You will have the opportunity to see yourself well - having healed from whatever condition limits you physically or emotionally. This is the journey of Yoga Nidra, to become a conscious participant in your own healing journey. May you always be well!

My journey into the practice of Yoga Nidra began in 1987 as a part of my own healing process from an autoimmune disorder that resembled Lyme Disease. It took 7 years to completely recover from the illness. During the illness, I was crippled and I could not sleep. Yoga Nidra kept me both alive and sane as resting in the state of Yoga Nidra replaced much of my sleep. It also accelerated my healing - which occurred completely naturally through the practices of Yoga Nidra and Ayurveda.
