Album Notes
Downtime Productions was created in 2008 by producer, Don Myers. Don is a Tampa Bay native that moved to Atlanta in 2005 to pursue his career in music. At the age of 6 years old Don was captivated by his mother's piano and has been playing ever since. With his father being a drummer in a popular local Southern Rock band, Don quickly became comfortable in live sound and recording environments as he would attend rehearsals, shows and recordings with his father.

At the age of 19 he was introduced to the rave scene which opened up an entirely new perspective on music for him.
Influenced by EDM, Techno, Pop and the Alternative Rock that he grew up with, he started molding the distinctive sound of Downtime Productions as we know it today.

In 2016, Don met his production partner and love, Lisa Lane. Lisa grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta where she quickly learned the ins and outs of the local music scene gravitating towards Industrial, Goth and Heavy Metal sounds. As a co-producer, she is a major influence on the production of their new album titled "Double Down" set to release in November 2019.

Downtime Productions is a collection of downtempo, chill, melodic and sexy smooth instrumentals mixed with dark lying undertones and smoky bluesy vocals. Sure to please, Downtime Productions should not go without notice.
