Album Notes
Deflowers’ highly anticipated debut release “one” would most easily be described as modern progressive emo/hard rock. Compelling lyrics and vocals over dynamic guitar surges and mathematical percussion
Combine to deliver an experience most closely related to the likes of
Tool, Soundgarden or even Radiohead.

Ranging from the radio Friendly tracks “Everything’s Alright” and “American Queen” to the heartwrenching “Why don’t you feel” to the
Frightening “They might be listening”and “Wishes come true”. Deflower definitely wants you to feel the music as well as hear it.

Deflower also chooses track #8 to give an up close look at the bands guitar prowess with “minuet” a four minute long entrancing duet of classical guitar.

Deflower “one” will put you inside the bands sometimes violent mood swings and not let you go. You’ll never feel so good being scared.

Kaboom. Wow.
This album was a very welcome surprise. I first saw Deflower open for King Black Acid at the Ohm in Portland, OR in early 2003 and have followed them since. This album is great, it shows the detailed, thoughtful, and dynamic abilities of this groups music.

Truly epic music, Zeplin meets the Cure meets Tool!
Deeply moving sounds eminate from Deflower one. Such a welcome suprise in these hard times for new music.

pretty good
well...im digging the music..some of the tracks, especially you're finally here, remind me a little bit of dredg...the vocals are weak at times, and i dont think they really fit the style. the music is awesome though..

i woke up and im like that cd case wasnt there b 4
i only found out about this cd cause it was on my nightstand when i woke up at 7 30 am. i was like it wasnt there b4. i woke up my nephew and asked if anyone had gone in my room. he said my brother. of course my brother doesnt go out and get a cd he doesnt know about. well i listened to it. and omg its really cool it kind of stunned me that i didnt hear of this cd b4. of course i only hear the stuff on the radio but i guess i need to spread out things. great cd and artist!

The cd is pretty decent, they just need a better singer, the minuet is amazing...it brings tears to my eyes everytime.
