ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The song "Put the Country Back in Country" was first conceptualized by David Harbaugh after listening to a song by Alan Jackson and George Strait called "Murder on Music Row". It really spoke to him, because as kid he used to listen to his mothers country records like Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn and many other great coutnry artist. He felt like the sound that made country music what it was had been lost a little in todays country music. It seemed only fitting to write a song that reminded people what country music was and pay tribute to some of those great artist that made the genre what it was. Without many of those great country stars, today's artist wouldn't even have had the opportunity to be where they are. Hopefully there is still a place for traditionally country music.

I hope you all enjoy David Harbaugh's latest hit country single "Put the Country back in Country".
