Album Notes
As an "ARTIST" I look for ways to explain what my music is all about.Sometimes it can be difficult because most people judge music by what their hearing through the radio broadcast.

This is about the only way I can explain my music. Its all about the MOOD.

I knew when I was doing this style of music that it would be hard for people to relate to it.But I wanted to do something different.I wanted to stray away from the normal mainstream type music.Friends told me I was only shooting myself in the foot because no one would be interested in this creation of music.

In alot of ways I knew they were right but something deep inside of my heart wouldnt let go.

I knew I would be alone in this project so I had to learn how to play all the instruments and without any collaboration or any ideals from anyone else.I began this project in 2006-2008 taking it one song at a time.It seemed like magic each song just fell into place and why and how I dont know and I cant explain but it just seemed like it was meant to happen.

Darrell Deese "Instra-mental" was my best accomplishment as far as instrumental music goes.I then began working on the cds of horror being a big horror movie fan I got this ideal maybe I could do some soundtrack type music. And this brought forward Darrell Deese "Blood From A Rose" although alot different sound than "Instra-Mental" and a alot more on the metal genre.I still feel its different than the mainstream of music.

Darrell Deese "Dark Image" although it doesnt have much to do with me I only did the guitar work on that cd and it was sort of a different direction than i myself wanted to go.I have many times felt that "Dark Image" was a mistake and I should have never released it under the Darrell Deese name. But I later decided to leave it as a reminder to me that sometimes we all make mistakes that we later regret.

Darrell Deese "The Lost" was later released under "Blood from A Rose" with more songs added and without the song "Gothic Uprizing".

In 2008 I decided to take a break from music because I was starting to loose my feel for creating. The plan I had was to release as many songs as I could only if I could continue to create music that was different.

In my down time I had a few songs that I had never released so I decided to release them on my last cd called Darrell Deese "Rise Of The Dead" and why this kind of title.I felt that most of those songs were dead in the water but little did I know that the song "Rise Of The Dead" would be the most popular song I have "GO FIGURE"

Last but not least heres what a fan wrote about me and my music...

A "Bloody" Damn Fine Instrumental Metal CD
I guess that you could say that I'm a little biased towards Darrell Deese's music, as I have his "Instra-Mental" CD in my collection as well.

This newest offering combines "The Lost" with a few new tunes into one outstanding CD. He maintains his enjoyable metal guitar sound, but takes on a spooky, horror-film, gothic inspired theme for this compilation. He doesn't disappoint in creativity, musical ability, masterful playing, and each tune is unique in nature, just like all of his other works that I've heard. You can tell that he puts heart and souol into his creations, and if you like good quality instrumental guitar, then pick this up and give a nice long listen...you won't be disappointed!!!
