ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A bunch of songs about life, relationships, heartbreak, and anxiety. I was turning thirty-one, already feeling down about and life changed suddenly and dramatically. The kind of change where you get dumped, and it is your fault.

So, dusting off what was left of my ego, I wrote some songs. It's funny how when you are heartbroken and alone, with a lot more free time, songs come out more easily. Some are bitter and self-pitying, some are triumphant and cathartic. Some bits are biographical, some bits are fabrication. I probably ticked all the boxes for the stages of grief.

I like to think there are some uplifting messages in here that might resonate with someone out there. Stuff happens, life moves on, you make stuff. No hard feelings.

Thank you to my family and friends for putting up with me. Mam and Dad for everything. Thanks to Luiza for being beautiful. Thanks to Jake for being a good boy. Who's the best boy? Jake is the best boy. Yes he is. Thank you to Joel August Hatstat (congrats!), Nicole Zabetakis Lotko, Mícheál Ó Apostolou, the Six MIle Water crew, Kristian, and everyone else who listened and gave feedback. Thanks to Bernie Wallace for taking the cover photo.

Recorded, Mixed, Mastered in Haarlem Netherlands in late 2018 and early 2019.
