Album Notes
This version of the powerful Gayatri mantra is considered the true rendition by many saints. Capitalising on the well known "Sacred Chants of..." sound and style of Craig Pruess (108 Sacred Names of Mother Divine, Sacred Chants of Shiva, Sacred Chants of Buddha...Shakti, etc.), this has transcendental vertical ethereal elements with some very powerful contrasts of deep, resonant vocal chanting, including rich & expansive low end.

The creation of this recording has had many sychronicities (divine interventions) and certainly guidance from spiritual beings. It was clearly meant to be, with a destiny to be a much used and loved recording for helping to transform the vibration of the Earth. Released all over the Indian subcontinent in March 2016 by India's largest record company, Times Music, it has been tweaked and refined for a global market for a Western release — all in ultra high-fidelity and the ultimate in powerful recorded sound.

Pronunciation here is the key to activating the Gayatri mantra. Correctly chanted, it unlocks the most promordial description and sonic depiction of the earth, sun, planets and galaxies moving through space. With so much mass moving 20,000 miles per second, the ancient rishis "heard" this sound and called it "Om". This is in essence the meaning of the Gayatri mantra, all encompassing, huge and majestic. This is what this rendition (considered the "true rendition") captures.

Starting with the initial meeting and sharing in 2015 of music/composer/producer, Craig Pruess, with one of the world's most reknown healers, Andrew McKellar, this recording was first envisioned and then manifested. The CD booklet contains more of the extraordinary story of how it all unfolded, clearly guided, lovingly and beautifully. "Let me be an instrument of Thy Will...."

The CD is divided into three sections: 1) Meditation, which is the morning mood of the first treatment of the chant: grounding and settling for morning yoga/samadhi practice; 2) Dusk, the evening mood for ethereal contemplation: expansion and inner vision as the sun sets (utilising Raag Yaman); and 3) Kundalini Activation, the final and powerful rendition for any time of the day: big, low drums and sound open up the depths of the cosmos, invigorating the whole system.

The CD is ideal for playing on loop to purify any atmosphere and suffuse it with harmony and balance. It can be used for personal practice and for group sessions. It is beyond barriers, it is transportational. It is the need of our times.
