ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Lake Charles, Louisiana's own Connie Major is a modern Contemporary Gospel artist. She accepted the Lord in her life at the early age of fifteen, and has been serving the Lord - “Under Construction” ever since! Her passion has always been to minister through songs. Along with Pastor Adam J. Stevens, Connie has recorded such songs as: Standing in the Midst of a Storm, Give Me the Strength, and Stay Encouraged. She’s also a member of a local group known as “The Echoes of Praise”, founded in 2006 by Pastor Mary G. Ringo, featuring vocalists Pam Warren, Connie Major, & Mary Ringo. The Echoes of Praise were featured at the Campaign for America’s Future in New Orleans, LA with former Vice President, Al Gore in 2007, and again in Washington D.C. at the “Take Back America Conference" with Oval Office hopefuls Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney, James Edwards, and President Barack Obama.

Connie Major follows the scripture that says “Let everything that hath breath, praise the Lord” (Ps. 150:6). God loves to be praised, and she believes a lot of her blessings have come through her praise - she also believes in the quote which says, “When praises go up, blessings come down”. She continues to praise God, strive daily to let her light shine that others may see Christ in her ministry of music.
