ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hello, listener!

My name is Claire Scott, and I am 17 years old. My musical journey began at the age of five when I began to take violin lessons from my teacher, Lauren Rioux. When I was about 11 years old, I became interested in song-writing. Song-writing combines my passions for music and writing and is a beautiful outlet for my experiences and emotions.

This year I decided to record an EP with five of my original songs as a culmination of my years with music. The recording process was challenging and engaging, and it kept me motivated to keep writing music and improving throughout my senior year of high school.

My EP, "Sweet Like Honey," explores themes of love, home, and growing up in Maine. This album features my vocals and fiddle, as well as bassist Amanda Kowalski and guitarist/mandolinist David Surette.

I am really proud of "Sweet Like Honey." Thanks for listening!
