ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Charlie’s latest album released in November 2018 marks a new direction for this well-known Aberdonian musician, Scottish accordionist, martial artist and pizzaiolo. A good mix of original and traditional songs and music. Celtic with some Irish and a particularly unique north east of Scotland echo, climaxing in a warm Latin American Cowboy-Morricone memory, influenced by an Aberdonian sunset.

Listen to the silky-smooth accordion over a glass of your favourite beverage and let the music paint pictures and transform you to foreign landscapes, past lives and future memories.

Charlie produced and recorded this album over ten years while learning about the dark arts of audio production. During this time, he moved city, returning to his home in Aberdeen with his wife and two boys. All while continuing his career fronting his other activities with the Iron Broo Ceilidh Band.
