Album Notes
B Stew has played shows that range from 3000 people underground raves to the stages of major Music Festivals such as Wet Electric’s 10 year Anniversary

Born and raised in the city that birthed the very first sounds of Electronic Dance Music, Detroit, B Stew has been entrenched in the scene for close to 20 years. First getting his start as one of the largest party promoters and investors in the now infamous Detroit Rave Scene of the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, B Stew transitioned into the role of DJ soon after.

For many years Tech 12’s and crates of vinyl were used to play mostly hip-hop and very limited EDM music. Additionally, B Stew has booked and played with some of the greatest Ghetto Tech DJ’s in the genre. A Genre that has uniquely stayed within the boundaries of the 313.

Now residing in Scottsdale Arizona B Stew is releasing his first single “Music is my Mistress”, which is a musical culmination of many genres and flairs that you can only describe as Modern Dance Music. When asked what style of music he is making, he simply called it “A Dark bounce”.

Displaying an astonishing array of DJ wizardry learned over the years, B Stew has been known to play sets that go on for over 6 hours. Known for bending the norms of playing within a genre, B Stew brings a refreshing slap to the face of the music scene by daring to ignore typical audio archetypes and combining different sounds, melodies, and most famously, LOTS of BASS.
