Adam Simon

An album loaded with soundscapes that leave you humbled.
Bright Channel has a sound more mature than anyone. Between Jeff's guitar and Shannon's bass, the sonic layers reveal an orchestra with lots of sustain and crunch. When mixed with Brian's minimalist, but aggressive drumming style, the results are simply breathtaking. In the realm of My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless", this album is addictive and will leave the listener hoping for more.

Ambitious Masterpiece

Hypnotic, melodic and menacing.
Piercing washes of dissonant guitar and feedback. Drums that sound like echoes from an airshaft. Unrelenting bass. Sincere baritone vocals. Bright Channel reminds me of the Comsats (without the keyboards). Sleep No More.

The opening lyrics, 'Here it is, the final stretch, forget the old analogy', prepare you for the trip ahead.

This album is consistantly solid or better. Tracks like 'New Observation', 'Witness', and 'Light Workers' establishing a great, defining sound. Something like Joy Division, as interpreted by Bailterspace, and fed through three 21st Century musicians from Colorado. At every turn, it makes me wonder what is ahead...
