Album Notes
Recorded in 2002. This is my second CD of solo improvisations. The first, LIKE A MELODY, NO BITTERNESS, was recorded in 1997 and marked the end of my use of Ensoniq samplers, and the beginning of my programming in Max/MSP. DJ OF THE MONTH is a snapshot of my improvisational work five years later.

All performed "live," in one pass, with no mastering or editing. I am playing the music with a Wacom digital drawing tablet and pen, which offers five "degrees of freedom" (horizontal position, vertical position, horizontal pen tilt, vertical pen tilt, and pressure. My software allows me to change the meaning of each variable on the fly.
