Song of the Year

We lift up our voices to The Creator in honor, in thanks and as a form of worship through our songs for connecting us with Creator's Spirit.

Joseph was given his first Native American flute by his father when he was 4 years old. His Celtic influence comes from his gr-grandfather who was a bagpipe player with a family history from Galicia.

Laralyn's vocals and harp playing have a Celtic root that comes from her gr-grandfather who immigrated to the US from Ireland bringing with him his fiddle and songs from the tribes of Eire (Ireland) and Albanach(Scotland). The Native American vocal, flute, and drum influence comes from Joseph's Arawakan Taino heritage and Laralyn's Cherokee, Muscogee Creek, and Choctaw bloodlines.

The Blessed Blend has performed at a many various concerts, cultural festivals, powwows, educational events, television news stories and churches throughout and United States.
