Album Notes
Dr. Robert M. Everett, “Biology Bob,” received his B.S. in Botany and M.S. in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University and his Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is currently an Associate Professor of Elementary Science Education in the School of Teacher Education in the College of Community Innovation and Education at the University of Central Florida. He has been performing original concept-specific life science songs at schools and conferences for over thirty years. His music can be described as a mixture of folk, rock, blues and funk with a few surprises thrown in. He hopes you enjoy his songs and learn some life science along the way. This release is more rock oriented. Highlighted songs are "The Wonders of Life", "Germs", "Carnivorous", "Plants Have Stems," and "Rabid Sally." "Rabid Sally" is based on a true encounter with a sick raccoon.
