Bill Sims Jr puts his own stamp on all things Dylan
My Wife & I love the new release by Mr Bill Sims Jr - Bill on Bob. The description on the CD Baby page reads: BIll Sims Jr. Plays and sings some sections from the Bob Dylan Songbook, but it's a whole lot more. It's Bill's stamp on every song with deep blues, soul, folk & country interpretations on some well known and a few "deep" Dylan cuts. Lovely recording with Bill's soulful voice and laid back n groovy guitar just right in the mix, and a great band handling all the various musical styles with ease. We listened to the whole thing on the ride to Upstate, NY this past Friday. I highly recommend it! Michael Louis
